Alexia brings several years of experience balancing a wide variety of work, transitioning easily from economic research to presentation development, to financial analysis on a daily basis. Some of Alexia’s responsibilities include supporting Market Street’s strategic planning processes and managing operational responsibilities for the firm. She has worked closely with project teams that have recently facilitated processes for the Atlanta BeltLine; in Morgantown, West Virginia; and El Paso County, Texas and leads Market Street’s involvement with the annual Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Convention.
Alexia previously worked in the travel and tourism industry with a focus on researching sustainable travel solutions, identifying travel trends, as well as coordination and planning. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in international affairs with a concentration in economic development from Florida State University. Alexia has completed the professional development coursework with the International Economic Development Council and received customized training delivered by economic development partners in the Orlando, Florida region.
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Alexia frequently travels back down to the Sunshine State to spend time with her family and soak in quality sunshine.
