Evan Robertson brings a passion for innovation-led economic development and unconventional economic development approaches to the Market Street team. His day-to-day activities entail providing communities with in-depth, clear analysis of their local demographic and economic trends. Since starting at Market Street in 2011, Evan has worked in communities large and small. Current and recent projects include Austin, TX; Gwinnett County, GA; Dalton, GA; and Greater Williamsburg, VA.
Evan holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning with a specialization in economic development from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in urban policy studies. In 2016, Evan was accepted to Georgia Forward’s Young Gamechangers program, a leadership effort that gathers together young professionals from throughout Georgia and empowers them to cultivate innovative ideas to assist a Georgia community as it plans for its future.
When Evan is not poring over spreadsheets, he’s either reading, writing, jogging, or decrying a missed goal by his home soccer team Atlanta United FC.
