Stephanie Allen brings sound analytic writing and critical thinking skills to Market Street Services. She joined the Market Street team as an intern in 2009 with a passion for holistic community and economic development. As a Project Assistant she works to compile both quantitative and qualitative data for many of Market Street’s projects. Projects she has assisted on include strategies for Nashville, TN; St. Louis, MO; Wheeling, WV; Murray County, GA; Madison, WI; San Marcos, TX; Des Moines, IA; Northwest Arkansas; and Vestavia Hills, AL.
Stephanie studied city and regional planning at the Georgia Institute of Technology with emphasis on environmental planning, healthy cities, and GIS. She also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Bard College, respectively.
Originally from Metro Atlanta, Stephanie currently lives in Los Angeles. Something of a nomad, she has also called Dutchess County, NY; Milwaukee, WI; Atlanta’s Cabbagetown neighborhood; Des Moines, IA; Trumbell County, OH; and Southern California's Inland Empire home. Stephanie enjoys roadtripping off the beaten path, exploring small towns and digging into their history, and doing the logic games from LSAT prep books.
